“Eyeshadow allows for the most creativity of all cosmetics. The key is blending.”–FRANÇOIS NARS, Founder & Creative Director
Whether it’s the velvety, cloud-like effect of an iconic NARS Smoky Eye or the crisp precision of a NARS Defined Eye, François’ approach to creating any eye look is to let his creativity run wild. NARS intense pigments, innovative formulas and bestselling eyeshadow palettes provide essential artistry tools to inspire, experiment and create.
Featured in NARS Eyeshadow Singles and Duos, Pigment Powder Suspension technology delivers incredible payoff via pigments suspended in an innovative liquid binding system to create rich, long-wearing, high-impact color in one stroke. Addictive velvety texture easily blends to create smooth, even color.
Powder eyeshadows are best applied using a brush. The denser the brush and the shorter the hairs, the more concentrated the color will be. Use a dense, full brush to apply color over larger areas and a fluffy full brush for blending one color into another. A small, densely-packed brush is also good for blending, especially on small eyes (where a full brush can dust away too much color). Choose smaller brushes for precision work, like lining lashes or blending shadow into the creases and corner of the eyes.
